Who We Are

Function Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic is a new, purpose built facility conveniently located at Penrose Wharf, Penrose Quay, Cork City. The founders and clinic directors are Australian physiotherapist, Dirk Harm, and his wife, Tipperary-native, Dearbhla Breen. Relocating from Brisbane, they bring their extensive knowledge and more than 20 years of combined experience in private practice to the people of Cork.

The vision for the clinic is to provide the best in patient care using the most up-to-date knowledge from the physiotherapy profession. The clinic was designed specifically with this in mind resulting in a modern, state-of-art facility which is both comfortable and functional for patients and staff alike.

Location – Function Physiotherapy & Sports Injury Clinic is on the first floor of the Penrose Wharf Complex, a few doors down from Educo Gym and directly above Bridgeway.  The first floor can be accessed via the central stairs in front of Sultan Restaurant or there is a lift, for those who require it, located at the front left of the building in front of Maher’s Golf Emporium.

Parking – Courtyard parking is available within the Penrose Wharf Complex which is accessed via Alfred St.  Enter the car park using the right lane and collect a ticket.  Parking is free for the first half hour and then €2/hour, or part thereof, after that.  Alternatively, street parking is available around the streets adjoining the complex but we would recommend trying Alfred St first.  Discs can be obtained from the Unity House corner store on McCurtain St.  The zone, 1003, is a two hour parking zone for a €2 disc.
